We want your child to be comfortable and learn to become independent when they are in the nursery, so here are some suggestions:

• Footwear safe to climb in and welly boots for playing outside in when it’s wet.
• Trousers and clothes that are easy for toileting
• Clothes appropriate for the weather as we play outside throughout the year.

The children engage in lots of messy  play  as part of  their learning so please avoid sending them in wearing clothes you don’t want to get dirty.

Please provide a change of clothing for your child incase he/she gets wet  This is especially important on days your child will be involved in Forest Kindergarten.

We have a small supply of spare waterproof clothing and wellies, but if you could bring your own, with your child’s name clearly marked, that would be much appreciated.
