St Andrews Nursery is a stand alone nursery located in the town of St Andrews. The nursery shares a building with Greyfriars Roman Catholic School and has done since 2007. The nursery has two playrooms for children aged 3 to 5 years of age and one playroom for early entrant 2 year olds who are allocated a place in nursery through the North East Fife Early Entrant Panel system.
Our staff team’s vision for our nursery is to create a happy, safe, stimulating and challenging environment where every child can be valued and nurtured, with the freedom to learn in their own way and at their own pace, leaving us with an enquiring mind and a thirst for knowledge.
We have high quality play equipment and books to support the curriculum both indoors and out. This follows the guidelines and quality indicators in the How Good is Our Early Learning and Childcare and the learning outcomes of Curriculum For Excellence. The Nursery is registered with the Care Inspectorate and works to their standards. We are pleased to welcome parents who may wish to visit to discuss any aspect of our work.
