Over recent years the nursery garden has been an ongoing project and this year we have been fortunate enough to benefit from a lottery grant obtained on our behalf by Pitteuchar, Stenton and Finglassie Garden Group.  Members of the Garden Group have very kindly contributed their time and expertise by contributing to planning of layout and purchase of plants.  We have bought an ‘Outdoor Stage’ and a ‘Storytelling Arbour’ as well as a raised, covered sand box.  The children have also been involved in planning and enjoy helping with the planting.

Children regularly enjoy outdoor learning and we have timetabled sessions at Pitcairn woods for every child.
