🧸 Child Protection and Wellbeing
At Paxton Nursery, children’s safety, health, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated Wellbeing Team works together to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported, while also helping families access additional support through local services when needed.
Our Wellbeing Team includes:
Sandie (Headteacher), Courtney (Depute Head of Centre), Jill (Principal Teacher), Sheila Wilson and Kayleigh Kerr (Senior Early Years Officers).
Together, they play an active role in promoting wellbeing across the nursery and within our wider community.
Sandie and Courtney are also our Child Protection Co-ordinators. With Sheila and Kayleigh being Depute Co-Ordinators They are responsible for ensuring that safeguarding procedures are followed and that the rights and safety of all children remain our top priority.
All members of our staff team are trained in child protection and safeguarding practices, and we work closely with families and partner agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.
At Paxton Nursery, we believe that protecting children and promoting their wellbeing is everyone’s responsibility — and we are committed to doing so with care, respect, and professionalism.
