We want to keep all children as involved as possible in child’s experiences in nursery.

The main way we will do this is through daily contact when you bring and collect your child and through the Personal Learning Journey (PLJ), which you can view anytime.

There will also be opportunities for you to have consultation time with child’s key worker at least once a term which is known as a ‘cuppa-chat’.  These meetings include the child, their keyworker and a parent/carer. In addition to this some children may require a more detailed planning meeting, for example those with additional support needs.

If you have any concerns you can request a meeting to discuss your child’s progress at any time. Meetings can also be arranged outwith nursery hours for those unable to attend during the nursery session.

We can also refer parents to a range of services which support both adults and children.  If you wish to access any of these services please speak to a staff member.  All queries will be treated as confidential.
