We can’t quite believe it is the end of term and what a busy term it has been!
Today, we thought about what our highlights from the term have been and what our next steps are.
We also concluded our class novel, Kensuke’s Kingdom, and shared our thoughts in a review. We have now all completed our 500 word stories and these have been submitted to the BBC. We have also entered another competition, a poetry writing challenge on National Poetry Day. We have the chance to have our poems published in a book.
In Numeracy, we have finished our learning from the term and have consolidated our learning in whole and decimal numbers and the 4 operations.
This week, pairs have presented their findings on a natural disaster of their choice and have made links to climate change. We have given feedback to each pair and thought about our next steps when presenting to an audience.
In P.E, we have concluded our learning in ball skills and team games by playing a cricket and basketball tournament.
In French, we have been developing our skills in the months, days, seasons and numbers.
We enjoyed outdoor learning with our buddies and carrying out an autumn scavenger hunt.
Across the school, we all met in our committees for the final time this term and reviewed the progress made so far.
Happy holidays to all!
