It has been an enjoyable and busy week in Primary 7 and we have enjoyed being back in school and wearing our hoodies for the first time. The weather has been nice and we have been using our outdoor space for different team building games and learning activities. We have worked well together to create our class charter, based on the UNCRC Rights of the Child and the Wellbeing Indicators. We considered the qualities of a good classmate and a good teacher.

We have written our House Captain statements, focusing on our personal skills and qualities and next week the classes will vote on who will become our House Captains for this year.

Our topic is focusing on travel and countries across the world. We began by working in small groups to create a desert island that met all of our basic needs and also the rules the inhabitants of the island would need to follow.

We have also started our new class novel, Journey to the River Sea. We designed front covers based on only the blurb to give us clues as to the title and the illustrations.

We enjoyed meeting with our buddies on Thursday and created special magic wands using outdoor materials, we also learned 3 interesting facts about our buddies in this time.

In P.E, we have enjoyed playing team games and we have started to develop our skills in Cricket.
