We have continued to develop our use of similes and metaphors in our writing this week and we created descriptions of a setting, focusing on using our senses.

We have been working hard to learn our Scottish poems and have analysed key features of them. We used this analysis to help us create a piece of artwork based on our poem, where we had a choice of materials.

In our Victorians topic, we have been learning about inventions from that era. We used ICT skills to research and then create digital information posters about different inventors. We also enjoyed using loose parts to create our own inventions. We used these ideas in drama when creating short scenes.

In Numeracy, we have been working at learning our 8 x table at speed. We have also been learning more about division and data handling.

Following our observation of birds in our playground, we made some bird feeders as part of our outdoor learning.

We have been learning how to describe our favourite hobbies in French.
