On Thursday we attended the Church with the whole school to sing lots of Christmas songs and hear the Christmas story.

 

In class we have been busy making Christmas decorations and calendars ready for the New Year. We are looking forward to bringing them home.

 

We have completed our work on Money and Decimals and have completed an assessment to show our understanding of the topic. We have also been working on our 6 and 7 times tables since we are such fans of these numbers!

 

We have written Christmas themed Haiku poems and we have been developing our use of commas and descriptive language.

 

We watched and reviewed the John Lewis Christmas advert and explored the message behind it.

 

In Science, we have been exploring the uses of batteries and how they are made and we have further developed our skills in creating and drawing circuits.

 

Today, we enjoyed a Christmas sing a long in the hall with the whole school and we competed in groups to complete a Christmas quiz.

 

It has been a very busy term and we hope everyone relaxes and has a lovely Christmas and New Year when it comes.
