Today has been a busy day, with it being our first Festive Friday! Today we made Christmas cards for our community bags using a mosaic technique. We also attended our committees and wished farewell and best wishes to our janitor, Rory.
In drama, we explored the theme of bullying through a poem and we considered the feelings of different characters in a school playground.
We have been learning about different types of discrimination in our topic and learned more about xenophobia. We explored this topic through our class novel, The Boy at the Back of the Class. We discussed how to be upstanders rather than bystanders.
We have continued to develop note-taking skills and we chose our own topics to write an information report about.
In Numeracy, we have been developing or skills in multiplication and division linked to money. We also learned about cross sections of shapes in Maths.
We have been learning the skills needed for Handball in P.E and have worked well in teams.
In French, we have been using colours to describe food items.
