We have had a busy week back in school and we have enjoyed participating in our Skills Academies. We have chosen from Art, Kapla, Netball/Basketball or Micro bits. We have enjoyed working with pupils from other classes too.

In Numeracy, we have been developing our skills in rounding decimals to whole numbers and to one decimal place. We have also learned about Fibonacci sequences. In problem solving, we have been using tangrams and developing our trial and error skills.

We have enjoyed participating in the BBC 500 word challenge and will complete and submit our stories next week.

We have chosen our new reading books and completed a predictor challenge based on the front cover.

In Drama, we developed our skills in mime and used Halloween to inspire our stories. We have also created some haunted house art, using a range of materials.

We have begun thinking about our new topic, Diversity. We considered what we know and what we would like to find out.
