Today, we met again in our pupil Committees and we are working hard with others across the school to make progress in our groups.
In our topic work, we have been exploring the Scottish mountains in detail and have used ICT to display our findings.
We have been developing our skills further in addition and subtraction, using a mixture of written and mental strategies. We have also been exploring reflective symmetry in our Maths.
In Writing, we have developed our recount writing skills further and have written about our greatest achievements, focusing on describing in detail and using interesting vocabulary. We have continued to enjoy our class novel, Kensuke’s Kingdom. We have been working hard to develop our spelling skills.
In French, we have devised games to help us consolidate phrases for weather. We have also been revising numbers.
We continue to enjoy drumming with Mr Foggo and Mr Higgins has been in class to carry out cello assessments. We have been writing our own lyrics in music to a rap song to encourage people to be kind to each other and celebrate diversity, and we have sharing these in class and giving feedback to each other.
In P.E, we have been developing our basketball skills further and have enjoyed participating in mini tournaments.
