We took notes while watching a program about red squirrels. We used our notes to write an information report. Everyone used subheadings and wrote in paragraphs.
We learned about homophones and worked hard on getting there, their and they’re right.
We have been learning about the grid method and have used it to multiply different numbers together.
In ICT we have continued to learn about keyboard short cuts and inserting information/pictures into a table.
Our Harvest dance is coming along nicely – we look forward to showing it at the assembly.
In pairs we are preparing a talk on Australia. We will continue to practice this next week ready for our presentations on the final week.
We have been really enjoying our class novel. Lots of children take turns to read a paragraph each.
In music, we learned to play a tune using the Boomwhackers and sang along.
We have continued to play strategy games in PE – Scout Ball and Hooparama were favourites this week.
Our committee groups met for the first time this week. Everyone enjoyed working with pupils from P1-P7.
