We created a five point summary about the Truth Pixie. We typed out our points in the correct sequence and included all the important information.
We wrote a story in pairs about conflict and resolution involving two families from Malibu Avenue.
Every group got their new reading book and spelling words home this week.

We developed our understanding of rounding to estimate. We spoke about how to round to the nearest pound and ten pence as well.
We are working on the quick recall of our times tables. Next week we will be timed to see how long it takes to complete the 2x and 5x tables wheels.

We have explored what is meant by a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. We used a deflated ball and a pumped up ball to illustrated them.
