Friday 6th February

This week we have been learning about Victorian toys and have been exploring how they have evolved. We have been finding out about jobs children had during this time and we acted this out during drama in groups. We used Book Creator to turn what we have learned about life for children in this time, developing our ICT skills.

We have continued to write narrative stories and we gave feedback to each other to develop our stories further.

In Mathematics and Numeracy, we have been developing skills in data handling, including analysing data and being accurate when drawing our own graphs and charts.

In Art, we have been using shade and tone in our drawings of birds we observed in our playground.

We have been exploring renewable energy in Science and worked in teams to create Hydrogen Fuel Cells.

We have been learning our French numbers up to 70 and playing games to help us remember.

In P.E, we have been working on our rugby skills, playing our first games. We have continued Scottish dances and enjoyed the Virginia Reel.

We continue to learn new chords in Ukulele and are improving at changing between them. We enjoyed our drumming lessons with Mr Foggo.
