With Mrs Skilling, we looked at the school values and created posters stating which each word meant. We used plickers cards for the first time to share our answers on the smart board. While using this, we looked at the bar graphs our data created. We enjoyed creating labels for our trays within class. In Drama, we looked at some fun “getting to know you” activities and started looking at the different emotions we can express.
With Miss Tannock, we played a variety of games to develop our communication skills, focussing on non-verbal communication. We thought about different ways we can keep ourselves safe in school, enjoyed playing tig games during P.E and read “My Class is a Family” and considered how we spend our time both at school and at home and what words we associate with “family”. We looked at the United Nation’s Rights of the Child and considered the difference between a ‘need’ and a ‘want’. We also wrote about our favourite experience from our holidays.
