Welcome back, everyone and welcome to P3/4!
We have got off to a great start! We have been thinking about what our School Values look like in school and have created a classroom poster. Today we spoke about the UN Rights for the Child and used them, along with a discussion about what makes a good learner, to come up with our Class Charter. We are thinking we will have a woodland theme as we are enjoying our new class novel called ‘Benji’s Emerald King’.
We have been practising our number bonds to 10 and 20 through games and a making posters.
In PE today, we played games like Chaos Tig and Jungle on Fire.
In Outdoor Learning, we colour matched classroom pencil colours with colours in nature. For example, if we chose yellow, we found dandelions or yellow leaves!
In Literacy, we drew a postcard of one of the best things we did in the holidays and wrote the postcard to Miss Amy. We had to try and include connectives, wow words, openers and good punctuation.
In Art, we each made a birthday card so that on our birthday we can pick a card from the class. We have put all of our birthdays up on the birthday balloons in the classroom.
In French, we remembered how to great each other and say how we are. We also learnt how to say the date.
