This week in PE, we learned the Scottish country dance, the military to step. We had so much fun clapping to the beat, skipping to the beat, even hopping to the beat and we loved having the opportunity to share our dancing with each other. In literacy we were learning about verbs. We watched a video where we had to dance and act out lots of verbs. It was so much fun. In maths we have been continuing our learning about time we’ve all been learning about o’clock half past and quarter past some of us have been learning about quarter to and we have been reading times in both analog and digital. we have also played lots of games involving time to help strengthen our understanding. In health and well-being we continued our work on worries and we had a circle time to discuss who can help us when we’re feeling worried. We have had lots of opportunities to share our worries and solve in class. In science we continued our new topic of electricity. We have been learning about different appliances and talking about how they are electrical non-electrical and whether they use a battery or remains power supply. We used a vent diagram to categorise the appliances. We also had the opportunity to explore components for an electrical circuit. some of us managed to make the lightbulb light or a fan spin we can’t wait to learn more about this next week.
