We have been continuing to learn about Biodiversity both at school and in our own gardens. We have enjoyed writing short stories about different insects and animals that we have been learning about. We linked this to Art, Drama and Outdoor Learning this week too.

In Maths, we have been learning about the area of shapes – we have been measuring different areas using different objects in our classroom. We have also learned to count the squares within a shape to find the area. We will continue with this next week.

We have been working on our throwing and catching skills in PE this week. Everyone enjoyed playing Dodgeball at the end of the lesson.

We are learning a new song in Music – one that focuses on rhythm. We hope to add some instruments to it over the next couple of weeks.
