Newburgh Primary School is located in the north east corner of Fife.
We currently have 5 classes in school and we also have a nursery. We operate both term time and 49 week models of nursery provision.
Our building is split over two buildings. Currently our P1-3 pupils are housed in our junior building along with the nursery with the P4-7 classes working in the main building.
Our catchment area covers Newburgh and other rural villages and hamlets. The countryside around the school is stunning and has many areas of natural beauty.
Our staff and parents work as a very effective team. We have 4 full time teachers and 4 part time teacher. We also have 3 pupil support assistants, learning support (part time), a clerical assistant, school support assistant and janitor. We also benefit from volunteers from our parent and wider community. These volunteers help in class with reading, maths and other activities.
We value the very good partnership we have with all of our parents and carers and know that all children benefit from this close association. More information about out Parent Council can be found in the Parent Council section of this page.
