Celebrating Success

As a school we continually strive to promote and recognise the achievements of all our pupils. We have several initiatives that run throughout the school year to support this. During our weekly assemblies we also celebrate wider achievements and encourage all pupils to share their news.

VIP

Every week each class teacher will nominate a Values Inspired Person – Our VIP – and they are rewarded a gold star (50 house points) for their house by Mrs Taylor.

All classes thought carefully about how pupils could be chosen and listed important criteria which needed to be met by Pupils of The Week. The pupil council took these ideas to create Steps To Success for P1-3 pupils and Success Criteria for P4-7 pupils.
