 About Us

In Primary 1 we have 16 children. Miss E McLean is our teacher and Mrs L Steel covers NCCT on a Thursday morning. During this time she is working on Literacy.

We have Miss H Turner, Miss C Quinn and Mr A Mason as Pupil Support Assistants over the course of the week.

Topics being covered this year are:
  • Term 1 – All About Me
  • Term 2 – Weather/Seasonal/Science
  • Term 3 – Toys
  • Term 4 – Fairyland

Other things we will be working on this year:

  • Nativity

Gym Day   – Friday

Ways to Support Learning at Home

  • Counting to and back from 30 – playing games such as  snakes and ladders
  • Learning word walls – play games such as snap and pairs.
  • Learn the alphabet
  • Playing I Spy using initial sounds
  • Writing their name
