A warm welcome to Ladybank Primary and Nursery School

Welcome to Ladybank Primary School and Nursery’s website.  We hope that our site will help you to find out more about our school and our learning community.

Our school lies in the rural village of Ladybank which sits just off the A92 north of Glenrothes.  We serve the village of Ladybank and the outlying hamlets of Giffordtown and Edentown.

Our life in school is underpinned by our motto that In Ourselves, Our Future lies.  We know that we have in us what we need to succeed, but our school community is crucial in helping and supporting us to be all that we can be.

Our Vision is that we are a learning family where all are nurtured, valued, encouraged and challenged.  We aim to;

Respect – learning, ourselves, each other and our school.

Believe – in ourselves and each other.

Achieve – everything we are capable of.

Working in partnership with our families to foster positive relationships between home and school is of great importance to us. We know that children do best when families and schools work together to support them.  Parent and carer helpers are most welcome to join us in enhancing our curriculum and learning experiences. Events throughout the year will give you an opportunity to visit the school and your child’s learning environment.
