S2 First Chances Trip – Dr Blacks Group (Dr Black)
Can all S2 pupils attending the First Chances trip to Fife College on Thursday 22 February, register with their tutor teacher then come to A6.

Rights Respecting Schools Group Cancelled! (Miss Young)
Due to prelims there is no pupil group this week or next. Look forward to seeing you all back the following week.

Guitar Lessons and Guitar Club (Mrs Duckett)
There are no guitar lessons or guitar club on today.

Modern Studies Assignment (Miss Young)
A catch up session has been arranged for next week for anyone who missed the assignment – this will be the final opportunity to sit these. Please see Miss Young today if this applies to you – otherwise you won’t have an assignment to send away.

Music Performances (Mrs Duckett)
Mr Wilkie is available at lunchtimes for to go through accompaniments for upcoming music performances and exams. Book in with him in the music dept.

Scottish Apprenticeship Week Events (Mr McCowan)
Attention S4-S6’s! Looking for an apprenticeship for after your time at KHS? Scottish Apprenticeship Week, run by Skills Development Scotland, will be hosting TWO apprenticeship events in March at:

  • Carnegie Conference Centre, Dunfermline – Tuesday 5th March 2024, 6pm-8pm
  • Auchmuty High School, Glenrothes – Thursday 7th March 2024, 6pm-8pm

These events have lots of information and opportunities for pupils/parents/carers to find out about:

  • Modern Apprenticeships
  • Foundation Apprenticeships
  • Graduate Apprenticeships

Flute Group (Mrs Clark)
Flute Group will be on every Wednesday lunchtime in the Music Department.

Equality Group (Dr Murray)
The KHS Equality Group meets every Wednesday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. See Dr Murray for a pass. Bring you lunch!

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes & Miss Millar)
If you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Thursday lunchtime. Ms Geddes, Miss Millar and the Mental Health Ambassadors will be there to welcome you.

Upper Strings Ensemble (Mrs Ranieri)
Upper Strings Ensemble will run today at lunchtime in the Music department.

Chemistry Study Support (Dr Black)
3:20-4:20pm in A6. Open to all levels. Start your prelim revision.
