KHS World Cup (Mr Greenhorn)
We have the following opening fixtures taking place this lunchtime in the Main Games Hall (Ned vs. USA, Ger vs. Por, Ned vs. Ger & USA vs. Por). It is up to each National manager to ensure that their team is ready to take part. The first fixtures will kick-off at 1:15pm. Spectators will only be allowed to watch from the Table Tennis suite – where no food or drinks will be allowed.
Kirkcaldy Badminton Ladder Competition (Mr Greenhorn)
The Kirkcaldy Area Badminton ladder competition takes place on Wednesday 23 November. Signed Rangers Top Raffle (Mr Sanderson)
Mr Sanderson is raffling off a Rangers top signed by the current 22/23 season first team to raise funds for the Washington Trip. Raffle tickets will be on sale from Tuesday 22 November at break in B14 for £3. Tickets will then be on sale every Tuesday and Thursday at break. The winner will be announced the last week of term. Get involved with our FIFA World Cup Score Predictions – correct scores will earn points for your house. The form will be updated each week with the games for the week ahead – please only submit one entry per tutor group per week.
S6 Yearbook Photos (Miss Lipton & Mrs Czudek)
Attention all S6!! Miss Lipton & Mrs Czudek will be available 22 November during break, lunch and also P5, P6 & P7 to take individual Yearbook photos. Only if you are free at any of these times, please pop along to D9 have these taken.
The S6 group photos are scheduled for Monday 28 November at 10am (weather permitting). Please can everyone make arrangements to be at the front of the school with full school uniform and blazers on for this time.
Also, a reminder to submit any outstanding assignments for the yearbook as soon as possible. Yearbook Committee will be available every Tuesday after school in D9 to support anyone who needs help with these.
FAO ALL S6 & STAFF: S6 Prom (Prom Committee)
We need as many donations as possible to create hampers to raffle to raise money for prom – please ask parents, carers, aunties, uncles, grannies, grandads etc to help! We need: Food & Drink – prosecco, wine, champagne, spirits, dry goods such as jam, chutney, crackers, oatcakes, crisps, nuts, chocolate, toffee, fudge, sweets etc & also Beauty & Gifts – gift sets, smellies, bath bombs, face masks, lotions etc. We also need nice empty alcohol bottles with the labels intact and vouchers would also be great!! Any help would be appreciated. All donations can be handed in to D9 ASAP.

Christmas Concert Singers Needed! (Mrs Duckett)
Kirkcaldy High School Choir need singers for the Christmas Concert! If you enjoy singing and want to be part of the friendliest singing group in the world, then join choir! We are very excited about the upcoming Christmas concert. Rehearsals take place after school on Tuesdays with Mrs Duckett in E10. Bring a friend and give singing a go! Noone will be put on the spot, and it is lots of fun!
DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
The Padlet has been updated with more local jobs – lots of local places are taking on Christmas temps. Remember the first place to start with applying for a job is to write a CV. There is a great guide on my World of Work to help with this. Speak to the Careers Advisors if you are not sure about where to start. If you are in S5 and starting to think about applying to University, in particular Edinburgh University – please let Mrs Whyte know as there is a great opportunity coming up!
