S3-S6 Future Asset Competition (Miss Nessel)
Pupils who have signed up to the competition and attended the meeting a few weeks ago have been emailed this morning by Miss Nessel (Tuesday 13th). You have been sent a permission form which needs to be filled in electronically or on paper and returned to Miss Nessel, as well as a online form to be filled. Both need to be completed ASAP. S3 Parents’/Carers’ Evening – In School – Wednesday 28 September – PEBS (Mrs Noone)
Instructions will be emailed to Parents’/Carers’ today on how to access the on-line booking system which will go live tonight, Wednesday 14 September at 6:00pm. Booking closes at 11:55pm on Tuesday 27 September.
S3 Course Transfer Request (Mrs Hamilton)
Any learner in S3 who would like to request a change of subject, should meet with Mrs Hamilton in the Boardroom at 1:15pm on Thursday 15 September. Please make sure that you bring along a permission to change note from parents/carers. Although we will try our best to make these changes happen, not every change will be possible.
Saltire Awards (Miss Lipton)
Can I remind any S4/5/6 who are volunteering either in or out of school or interested in volunteering opportunities to join our Teams Group using code 4i49tc2 or see me in D9. All hours should be submitted via the link in the Teams Group (ideally once a week). If you are looking for something to do, check out the Volunteer Opportunities channel to see which departments need a hand! When milestones are reached, certificates will be awarded which can be an excellent addition to your CV. Please make sure you don’t miss out!

Rights Respecting Schools Group (Miss Young)
The group will resume today at lunch in Miss Young’s room (B14), we look forward to welcoming our new “Rights Ambassadors” to the group and making some plans for the year. New members also welcome.
S1-S2 BSL (British Sign Language) Club (Mrs Kerek)
Come along and learn basic level BSL to be able to communicate with people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Come and learn to sign in a friendly and informal setting in at 1:15-1:40pm in C8 every Wednesday – You are welcome to bring a cold lunch with you. Any queries to Mrs Kerek Guidance/C8.
Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
The first training session will take place after school today 3:30-4:30pm. Please meet in the IT Hub at the end of the day. Any questions, please see Miss Hay before.
S5-S6 EMA (Mrs Geddes)
If you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring you completed Learning Agreement to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2022 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.
DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
We have a range of opportunities for pupils who want to gain a flavour of life in different sectors including Law, Accountancy, Engineering, Construction and Medicine. Including some interactive work experience opportunities – these are great to add to College/Uni applications but also CVs and apprenticeship applications. See the Padlet for more information and speak to Mrs Whyte for any help.
Street Theatre at Fife Pride, Saturday 17 September 2022 (Dr Murray)
Fife Pride are working with Surge Scotland to produce some street theatre performance for the Pride on the Saturday 17 September 2022.
