S6 Meeting (Mrs Davidson)
There will be an S6 meeting tomorrow in the Assembly Hall. You must register at tutor first and then go to the Assembly Hall.

Scotland Match Meeting (Mr I’Anson)
All those who have returned their permission forms for the Scotland matches only, please attend a meeting today at break in E2.

S1 & S2 Netball (Mrs Steedman)
All S1 and S2 girl’s interested in playing netball this year training will be afterschool every Thursday starting this week from 3:30-4:15pm.

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
Classics lunchtime Film Club will be starting up on Fridays featuring all the great movies about heroes like Percy Jackson, Hercules and Perseus. All new members welcome. Bring a packed lunch to C11 at the start of lunch, if you’d like to watch the film.

KHS Choir! (Mrs Duckett)
Open to everyone, no auditions! After school on Tuesdays with Mrs Duckett in E10. Starting on Tuesday 13 September.

S1 Fordell Firs Consent Forms (Mr Greenhorn)
There are still several S1 pupils that have not returned parent/carer consent to attend their Fordell Firs trip. A group lists are displayed outside the Active Schools base, with those who have returned their form highlighted in green. If you are having difficulties returning your form, please come and see me.

Kirkcaldy Rebooted (Mr Greenhorn)
The Young Ambassadors/Young Leaders have been working on a football boot/astro trainer donation scheme called ‘Kirkcaldy Rebooted’. If you have any old/unused football boots/trainers at home that you can donate, you can do so now. A donation box will be available at from reception in the next few days.

Fitzgerald Trust Scheme – 2022/2023 (Mrs Spence)
Application forms are available at reception for S5 and S6 pupils. Closing Date – Friday 9 September 2022.

S5-S6 EMA (Mrs Geddes)
If you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring you completed Learning Agreement to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2022 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
We have a range of opportunities for pupils who want to gain a flavour of life in different sectors including Law, Accountancy, Engineering, Construction and Medicine. Including some interactive work experience opportunities – these are great to add to College/Uni applications but also CVs and apprenticeship applications. See the Padlet for more information and speak to Mrs Whyte for any help.

Street Theatre at Fife Pride, Saturday 17 September 2022 (Dr Murray)
Fife Pride are working with Surge Scotland to produce some street theatre performance for the Pride on the Saturday 17 September 2022. This is a really exciting opportunity for ANYONE who has an interest in drama and performance. There’s more info on the Fife Pride website. See Dr Murray if you’re interested!

S2-S4 Music Lunch Club (Mrs Duckett)
This now takes place in E10 every day of the week, except Wednesdays.

String Group (Mrs Simpson)
The String Group will take place on Thursday lunchtime in E13.

This now takes place in E10 every day of the week, except Wednesdays.

Card Club (Mrs Rae)
Come along to the PSO base at lunchtime to play various card games and make new friends. Maybe your friends are off, and you have nowhere to go or you see yourself as a real “card shark” all are very welcome!

Wind Band (Mrs Simpson)
The Wind Band will take place on Friday lunchtime in E13/Dance Studio.
