S1 Instrumental Music Lessons (Mrs Simpson)
Could all new S1 pupils who received instrumental music lessons in Primary school, please meet Mrs Simpson (Music teacher) for a quick chat in the Assembly Hall today (Monday) at break time.

Fife Shakespeare Festival (Ms Bruce)
The Fife Shakespeare Festival is back and will take place at Fife College in November. This year we will be performing a 30 minute adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. If you’re in S1-S6 and want to take part, the first rehearsal/meeting will take place on Wednesday 3:15-4:15pm in Studio 3 where more information will be shared.

S5-S6 EMA (Mrs Geddes)
If you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring you completed Learning Agreement to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2022 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.

S3-6 Girls (Mrs Nessel)
If you are interested in Business, Accounting or Finance, we are running a competition where we ask teams of S3/4 and S5/6 girls to investigate companies and decide which ones could become big business in the next few years. You will get to share your findings with industry professionals, and if they like your ideas, you can win vouchers for our school, as well as £250 for each member of the team. You choose your own teams and we can have multiple teams entered. If you want to get involved, come along to an information session on Tuesday 30th to find out more.

S5 Lift Off (Miss Nessel)
Selected S5 pupils have been given slips in their tutor folders this week. This means you have been selected to take part in the S5 Lift Off Programme with Abertay University. Come along to Miss Nessel’s room (D8) at 10:45am on Tuesday 23 August. You will be out of class for 45 minutes.

S6 Lift Off Session (Mrs Sim)
All S6 should attend a session from Lift Off regarding higher education on Tuesday 23 August, period 4 in the Assembly Hall. Please register with your teacher and then head to the Assembly Hall.

Tuesday : Lower strings and Bass guitar lessons
Wednesday : Guitar lessons
Thursday : Piano lessons and Upper strings lessons
Friday : Woodwind and Brass lessons

S2-S4 Music Lunch Club (Mrs Duckett)
This now takes place in E10 every day of the week, except Wednesdays.

S1-S3 Maths Support Group (Mr Jones)
Need help with maths homework? Stuck on something you’ve looked at in lessons? Come along to the S1-S3 maths support group, every Wednesday lunchtime (1:05-1:40pm). Bring your lunch, bring your questions.

Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
Our first meeting this year will take place at 1:10pm on 29 August in B6. We have added you to our Microsoft Team so please make sure you can access this as we will send a reminder for the meeting there. If you are going to be late or can’t make it, please also inform us on the Team. Thank you!

Street Theatre at Fife Pride, Saturday 17 September 2022 (Dr Murray)
Fife Pride are working with Surge Scotland to produce some street theatre performance for the Pride on the Saturday 17 September 2022. This is a really exciting opportunity for ANYONE who has an interest in drama and performance. There’s more info on the Fife Pride website. See Dr Murray if you’re interested!
