Visit by David Gasana from Rwanda (Ms Mahr)
Today we have the absolute honour of hosting David Gasana and Callum Henderson from the Rwandan charity Comfort International.  David is a survivor of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda where nearly one million people lost their lives in the space of 100 days.  His story is incredible to hear and some of you today will hear his story in the sessions we have planned for you!  David loves to meet new people, especially from Scotland, so please feel free to say hello when he is moving about the building today.  You might find the phrases in Kinyarwandan below helpful when you’re doing this:

Hello – muraho (pronounced moo-rah-ho)
Good morning – mwaramutse (pronounced mwah-rah-moot-say)
Welcome – murakaza neza (pronounced moo-rah-kah-zah nay-zah)
How are you? – Amakuru? (pronounced ah-mah-koo-roo)

Thank you to everyone, in advance, for making him feel welcome!
