Dress Down Friday (Mr Allan)
Today is our usual end of term “Dress Down Day”. The collection is in support of “Comfort Rwanda”. We are in the process of organising a trip to our twin school in Rwanda in 2023. Thanks.

Rights Respecting Schools – Ukraine Appeal (Miss Young)
The Rights Respecting School’s group would like to thank KHS for raising a grand total of £1724 for the Ukraine crisis appeal. This will allow 57 large first aid kits to be sent out to health workers in Ukraine or pay for 38 emergency water and hygiene kits for families. We were also overwhelmed by the very generous number of items donated. This has clearly been an issue which has touched us all and your generosity and kindness are appreciated. Thanks for supporting the work of UNICEFF and helping children across the world. Our next project will be start after Easter, look out for the next notice! (please see pictures below, this is only a very small sample of the items we received!)

S1-S2 Rwandan African Tea Tasting Session (Mrs McMahon)
Any pupil who wishes to come along to a presentation from David Gasana and a demonstration of how to make Rwandan African Tea (and then drink it) should come along to D2/4 Home Economics to see Mrs McMahon. The session will take place Period 2 on Friday 29 April.   First come first served, 20 pupils max.

House System (Mr Spink)
Can we please ask that you scan the QR code either from here, or from one of the following areas in the school, when you are available: Dining Hall, Assembly Hall, War Memorial, Library, Guidance/PSO areas. Please aim to do it by Friday this week (1 April). We would like to gather your thoughts on how to improve our House System, and your opinions are highly important! Your teacher may also share this with you in class. S1 and S2 pupils may be given the opportunity to do this in Computing, to give you time to complete. Please be honest and sensible with your answers! Thank you, it is very much appreciated!

S4/S5/S6 Pupils Interested in a Career in Accountancy (Miss Grubb)
We have been given the opportunity for pupils to visit Haines Watts (Accountancy firm in Nicol Street, Kdy) on the morning of 23 May. If you have an interest in a career in accounting, please come and see Miss Grubb or Mrs Davidson by lunchtime on Thursday so express your interest.

Learning Survey (Miss Whyte)
We would love to hear your views on how you study or work at home and what support you think works.
Please scan this QR code and fill in the form.

S6 Prom (Mr Fulton)
Please be reminded that all S6 who are attending prom should make sure they have paid the full £40 by the end of term preferably using iPayimpact. You can check the amount you still have to pay on the lists at the prefect base.

Further to that, all pupils attending prom will be expected to return a ‘prom contract’. This details the expectations we have around behaviour up to and including the event itself. Any pupil who does not return this contract will not be permitted to attend. Please scan the QR code below for access. This can also be found at the prefect base. More details will be given at the S5/6 year group assembly on Friday.

Saltire Awards (Miss Lipton)
Can all S5/6 please ensure all voluntary hours are logged through the Saltire team form before the Easter break to allow for the certificates to be processed. See Miss Lipton in D9 if there are any issues or you want to check your hours logged so far.

Come to the PSO base either during lunch or after school to collect a bag of sanitary products to take home.
