THURSDAY 13 JANUARY

Hot Meal: Broccoli soup, Pasta bolognaise, garlic bread and salad or Cheese and tomato pizza and salad.

Fish & Chip Friday/Macaroni Monday (Mrs Hardie)
Please note that the main meal on Friday in the dinner hall (this week only) will be macaroni . Fish & chips will now be served as the main meal on the following Monday. This is a one off change due to supply issues.

Science Research Placements (Dr Murray)
Dr Murray has an opportunity for folk in S5 to spend some time during the summer working in REAL science/engineering labs. This would obviously be a great opportunity for anyone looking to study Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths subjects beyond school. See Dr Murray if you’re interested! S3 Prefects (J Davidson)
Over the next two weeks, S4-6 will be on study leave for prelims. We will need some S3 to step up and cover prefect duties. Anyone interested, should add their name to the list outside my office. A meeting will be held on Friday for all successful prefects and a duty rota will be issued.

Packed Lunches (J Davidson)
This week all packed lunch pupils should go to the IT Hub. Work is being done in the hall and then it is being set up for prelims.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

Chemistry Study Support (Dr Black)
Chemistry Study Support is on 3:15-4:15pm in A6. All levels welcome – bring your problems and have them sorted!

S1-S3 Netball (Miss Steedman)
S1-S3 netball will run on Thursday after school from 3:30-4:15pm.

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
“Release the KRAKEN!!” All are welcome to come and see the remake of the Clash of the Titans at Classics Film club, in C11. Bring a packed lunch and see the hero Perseus in action.
