S1/S2 Pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk (Mrs Bruce)
It is with regret that the Byre Theatre has decided to cancel the performance of Jack and the Beanstalk due to the rise of the Omnicron variant of Covid-19. All pupils who have paid will receive a full refund via IPayimpact. You don’t need to contact the Office as they are aware of who has paid but please be aware that refunds may take a few weeks. You should attend classes as normal on today. Apologies folks!

EMA Recipients (Mrs Geddes)
Please note that due to Bank Holidays, the EMA payment due on Thursday 30/12/21 will now be made on Friday 31/12/21.

Could all instrumental pupils please remember to take your instrument home over the holidays.

S4-S6 Music Pupils (Mrs Simpson)
Anyone sitting SQA music this year in S4-S6 and require an instrument to practice on over the holidays, please see Mrs Simpson as soon as possible to arrange.

Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
Can all mental health ambassadors please meet at B6 for the ambassador photos at the beginning of break tomorrow. Thank you!

Guitar Group (Mrs Simpson)
There will be no guitar group today at lunchtime. You may still use the dept to practice if you like.

S1-S3 Table Tennis Competition (Mr Greenhorn)
The first ‘Champions League’ knockout matches take place today at lunchtime. Can all participating players please make sure they arrive at the TT suite promptly (1:15pm) to play their scheduled match. Unfortunately, there will be no spectators allowed for this event.

S1-S4 Young Leaders (Mr Greenhorn)
Many thanks to Mr Stewart, Mrs Little, Mr Harrower & the Young Ambassadors who supported me with the interviewing for the Young Leader positions. We have successfully appointed 11 new Young Leaders who will begin their role in January. Letters will be handed out by our Head Girl at some point this morning.

Lateral Flow Covid Test Kits (Mrs Hardie)
If any staff member or pupil requires lateral flow test kits to see them over the festive period, please come to collect them from the PSO base.

Christmas Memorial Baubles (Gillian Wood, PSO)
If you would like to have a personalised bauble in memory of a loved one you can purchase one for £1 at the PSO. You can hang it on the school’s memorial tree at reception before taking it home to hang on your own tree. Any baubles left on the tree will be hung each year. It is a great honour for me to arrange this, you can admire the baubles and tree at reception. Any money raised will be used in our memorial garden.

Keyboard group is on today in E10 with Mr Duncan.

S1-S3 Maths Homework Support (Mr Jones)
Maths homework club with Mr Jones will run weekly every Wednesday lunchtime (1:15-1:40pm) for pupils in S1 to S3. Grab your lunch first and come along to C3 for homework support.

Craft Club (Mrs Patton)
Craft Club will run on a Wednesday lunchtime, 1:10-1:40pm in C19.

Equalities Group (Ms Mahr)
Come along and meet the Equalities Group on Wednesday lunchtimes at 1pm (bring your lunch) in C12! Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you all!

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support will now be running every Wednesday after school from 3:30-4:30pm in A1. It is welcome to all S3-S6 Biology students. Hope to see some of you there!

N5 & Higher Fashion & Textiles Study Support (Mrs Donaldson)
This will run every Wednesday, 3:15-5pm in D15.

Little Shop of Horrors (Mr McPherson)
Rehearsals are on after school tonight. All cast members check the schedule and attend the rehearsals you are called for. For anyone who put their name down for any other production area, please look out for blue bulletin messages from your team leaders in the coming weeks.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

S1-S2 Science Club (Hanna and Hassan, S5)
There is a Science Club for S1-S2 running every Thursday. Come along to do some cool science stuff that you might not usually do in class. We meet at 1:15pm in A5 (Mr Dick’s room).

Chemistry Study Support (Dr Black)
Chemistry Study Support is on 3:15-4:15pm in A6. All levels welcome – bring your problems and have them sorted!

S1-S3 Netball (Miss Steedman)
S1-S3 netball will run on Thursday after school from 3:30-4:15pm.
