Astroturf (Mr English)
The Astroturf pitch will be closed at lunchtime today as there is a Girls’ Football Tournament on this afternoon.

S4-S6 Computing Pupils (Miss Nessel)
The Computing Roadshow on Friday 19 November has been cancelled. Please attend class as normal.

Dress Down Day (Travel & Tourism Class)
On Friday 19 November there is going to be a dress down day for Children in Need. The theme is all about being yourself. Everyone is equal in school and we should take a chance to celebrate that. There should be no football strips or inappropriate clothing worn on the dress down day. Please also bring a change of kit if you have PE. Pay a donation of £1 or what you can afford in tutor on the day.

Youth Action Group (Miss Young)
Our local youth workers Stephen and Brendan will be returning to school on Thursday lunchtimes in B14 from Thursday 25 November. Those who were in the group before will know how great the group was and all the good work that took place. For new members please come along if you are keen to get involved in helping your local community and having a say on what young people want in Kirkcaldy, as well as grabbing a free lunch!!

Suggestion Box (Head Boy)
There is now green box at the Prefect Base for any ideas and suggestions you may have to improve the school.

Pantomime Trip: Jack and the Beanstalk S1/S2 (Ms Bruce)
The pantomime trip is now full, and tickets have been allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Unfortunately, if you haven’t yet made the payment or made the payment too late, you may have missed out. A final pupil list of those going on the trip has been posted outside Studio 4. Please check if your name is there. If you know you have paid, but your name isn’t on the list, you will need to be refunded. Please see me if you have any questions.

Junior Science Club – Group A (Hanna and Hassan, S5)
Science club is on today in A5 for group A. We start at 1:15pm and please make sure to arrive on time so we can complete the experiment. If you are unsure what group you are in, the list is posted outside of A5.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

Chemistry Study Support (Dr Black)
Chemistry Study Support is on 3:15-4:15pm in A6. All levels welcome – bring your problems and have them sorted!

S1-S3 Netball (Miss Steedman)
S1-S3 netball will run on Thursday after school from 3:30-4:15pm.

FRIDAY 19 NOVEMBER

Wind group is on today in E13. Please bring your lunch and be ready to play for 1:15pm.

Health Zone (School Nurse)
You can access the confidential drop in service for any reason at all, including support with sexual health and contraception. The nurses also offer mental health support and will “signpost” to other services. This will run today at lunchtime behind Community Use.

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
All are welcome to Classics Film club in C11. Bring a packed lunch and see the hero Percy Jackson in action.
