University Applications – September 2022 Entry (Miss Fotheringham)
Could those pupils in S5/6 who are applying to university for September 2022 entry please scan the QR code on the posters around the school. This will take you to a MS form to register for the in-school UCAS sign up session on Tuesday 5 October periods 4/5.
S3 Course Transfer (S Hamilton)
If you are in S3 and would like to request a change of subject, you MUST do this next Wednesday at lunch time. You will need to bring along a letter to the Library at 1:15pm signed by your parent/carer, saying that they are in agreement to the change. You must have a good reason for wanting to change and you must be prepared to spend some time during the October holidays catching up on work for your new subject. Please note that most of the S3 classes are currently full so in most cases we will only be able to make a change if there is someone wanting to come out of the subject that you are wanting to go into.
String Ensemble (Mrs Simpson)
String ensemble starts on Tuesday in E13. All upper string (violin, viola) and lower string (cello, double bass) pupils should come along to Mrs Simpson’s room and be ready to play for 1:15pm. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
If you have already signed up to be a Mental Health Ambassador our next meeting will be in B6 on Wednesday 29 September at 1:00pm. Bring your lunch with you. We look forward to seeing you there!
Guitar/Bass Guitar Club (Mrs Simpson)

Never Gonna Give You Up! Do you want to be involved in a ‘Rick Astley’ Music Video playing this classic tuuuune on keyboards?! Collect the keyboard music from Mrs Duckett this week. Recordings will take place before the October break and edited over the holidays.

S1 Netball will run after school on Monday in the Girls’ Gym from 3:15-4:15pm. Please bring a change of PE kit and water.

S2 Football will run on Monday afterschool (3:30-4:30pm). Training will be on the grass so bring appropriate footwear if possible.

LGBT+ Group (LGBT+ Committee)
The legendary and amazing LGBT+ Group meets every Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) for anyone who wants to have a nice place to sit and enjoy their lunch, get to know other people, make badges, and (new for 2021!) make keyrings. EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome, hope to see you there!

Homework club will be running each Tuesday in C6 from 3:20-4:20pm for all year groups, all subjects.
