A huge well done to our 6 fabulous young people who took part in their Gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition this week after several challenging days walking from Edinburgh to Dunfermline.

These young people have shown remarkable dedication to their Duke of Edinburgh journey over the past three years, progressing all the way from Bronze, through to silver and now Gold. Along the way, they have developed a wide range of valuable skills, built resilience, independence, confidence, and created amazing memories.

Their final expedition was a fantastic achievement. The group worked amazingly well as a team supporting and encouraging one another throughout, keeping each other going even when the walking became challenging while also maintaining high spirits along the way. They enjoyed wild camping on their final night, the experience of walking across the Froth Road Bridge and getting to see the lovely views along the way.

We can’t put into words how proud we are of this group! Their commitment, determination and teamwork are something to be admired. Well done again, what an achievement!
