S1 STEM Roadshow (Miss Irvine)
All S1 pupils will be attending a “Material World: Engineering the Future” roadshow on Friday 25th September. This visit is supported by BAE Systems, the Royal Navy, and the Royal Air Force to showcase the breadth of modern engineering careers.
The performance will take place from 09:30 – 10:20 in the assembly hall.
Your period 1 teachers will escort you to the hall with your bags and jackets from 09:15 so that you are ready for the performance to start at 09:30. Your period 2 teachers will then meet you in the hall and stay with your class throughout the performance.
We expect you to be on your best behaviour and be respectful at all times towards the performers on stage! See you all on Friday 🙂

S1 Boys Football (Mr Geissler/Mr Mooney)
S1 Boys football will be after school on Thursday this week instead of Monday. All are welcome. We are entered into a 7 a-side tournament on Monday 28 September at Viewforth against the other Kirkcaldy schools and this another chance for you to impress before the squad is announced. Please get changed in the Boys changing rooms and head out to the Astro.

Stem opportunity: Young WEIR-WISE: Discovering Engineering with S2 Girls (Dr Black)
