The Haggis Hoppers (our school ceilidh band) performed at The Victoria hospital. We had a fantastic afternoon playing jigs, reels, waltzes and songs to patients and staff as well as friends and family of KHS. We are so proud of our pupils who have practised after school on Fridays and in their own time to be able to play as an ensemble and convey the joy of traditional Scottish music which, as you may know, can go at a fair lick!
Huge thanks also goes to Mrs. Duckett (accordion), Dr. Murray (fiddle), Mr. Wilkie (keys) and Mr. Knussen (bass) – the dream team!
Thank you Mr. Young for superb transport links to the hospital!
