After entering their submissions for the national Academic Centre of Excellence (ACE) Cyber Security Competition, seven of our senior Computing Science & Games Development students were invited along to Abertay University to compete in the Scottish final.

Before battle commenced they received input from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCC) Group on Cyber Security approaches and a fascinating lecture on real world Digital Forensics from Professor Ian Ferguson.

Our two teams, ‘Ministry Of Gingerbread’ and ‘Dipoost’ then competed in a Capture The Flag competition with ‘Dipoost’ coming in at 3rd on site and 12th of 60 overall. Well done everyone!
