Kirkcaldy High School Reaccredited as a Level 1 Vision School

We are delighted to share that Kirkcaldy High School has successfully achieved reaccreditation as a Level 1 Vision School with Vision Schools Scotland, recognising our continued dedication to high-quality Holocaust education.

As part of this achievement, pupils Eilidh C (S4) and Zainab U (S3) represented the school at a special award ceremony held at the Scottish Parliament. The award was presented by Jenny Gilruth, marking an important milestone in our ongoing Vision Schools journey.

The Vision Schools Scotland programme supports schools to embed Holocaust education across learning, promote critical thinking, and encourage young people to reflect on issues such as discrimination, human rights, and social responsibility. Achieving reaccreditation demonstrates our sustained commitment to these values.

We are incredibly proud of how far our Vision Schools work has come and are excited to continue developing this important area over the next three years. Well done to everyone involved in securing this reaccreditation and representing the school so positively.
