Litter Picking (Mrs Duckett)
Help make the Den beautiful again! Litter pick this Saturday 10am – 11am. Meet by the KHS crossing to the path which leads to the Shell Garage.
🐾 Scotland is a nation of animal lovers — and the Den is one of our local treasures! Let’s show how proud we are by keeping it clean, litter‑free and safe for the amazing wildlife that lives right on our doorstep. 🌍✨
🦌 Did you know deer wander quietly through the woodland? They rely on the Den’s peaceful cover to rest, feed, and raise their young. Litter can frighten them, injure them, or disrupt their natural paths.
🦊 Foxes slip through the undergrowth at dusk, searching for food and shelter.
🦉 Owls perch silently in the trees, hunting in the twilight.
🦔 Hedgehogs snuffle through the leaves looking for insects.
🦋 Butterflies and bees thrive among the wildflowers, helping the whole woodland ecosystem flourish.
All of these creatures depend on a clean, healthy habitat — and we can help protect it. 🌱💪
Thank you
