Learning Survey (S Hamilton)
We would like you to take some time to complete a learning survey during tutor time today. This is an international survey, which will allow you the opportunity to answer questions about your learning. The results for our school will go towards the international data but we will also get a report for our school. It is important that you take time to answer this truthfully, as we will analyse the results and make improvements where necessary. I will also add this to the year group Teams on Glow for anyone who has been unable to access it today.

Saltire Awards (Miss Lipton)
For those of you who are volunteering, both in and out of school, can you please submit any hours ASAP to either Miss Lipton directly or through the Form in the Team to allow these to be claimed before the end of the year. Any issues or questions about this please see Miss Lipton in D9. Thank you.

S2 Latin: Adam Smith (Mrs Shearer)
Our next Latin lesson will be today (Wednesday ) period 3 in room C13. Please register quickly with your regular teacher first.

Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
We are looking to appoint more mental health ambassadors for next year to be able to support the wellbeing of our school community. Alongside community education we will be providing a fantastic training programme which can lead to different awards/qualifications. If you are currently in S2-S5 with an interest in learning how to support each other’s mental health, then come to an information session in the IT suite today at lunch – feel free to bring your lunch as we will start at 1:10pm. If you have any questions or would like to put your name forward prior to this please see Miss Hay, Miss Fotheringham or Mrs Kendrick.

Have lunch with a Hero… (Mrs Brown)
There are zombie skeletons and monsters galore in this retro ‘Swords and Sandals’ classic! Feel free to being your lunch to C11 on Wednesday to watch the original – Jason and the Argonauts.

S1 Action Group (Mrs Duckett)
S1 Action Group meeting on Friday 11 June. Pupils who are involved need to go to Mrs Duckett’s room, E12, at the beginning of period 5. Please see Mrs Duckett if you have any questions prior to the meeting.

Italian Club (Mrs Morris)
Italian Club will run every Wednesday lunch time from 1:15-1:45pm in C9. Bring your lunch along with you and learn some new Italian words and phrases.

Spanish Study Support (Mr Spink)
Mr Spink will host an additional slot during Wednesday lunchtime, from 1:10pm in C14.

English Homework Club (Mrs Patton)
Mrs Patton will be running a homework club every Wednesday after school from 3:20pm – 4:20pm. This is open to all pupils, please come along to C6.

Study Support Fashion & Textiles/Art & Design (Mrs Donaldson)
N5 & Higher Study Support with Mrs Donaldson on Wednesdays at 3:15-5pm in D15.

THURSDAY 10 JUNE

Tree Craft (Mr Crawford)
Thursdays at 1:10pm. A short walk through local woodland, weather permitting, or related activities indoors otherwise. Come along and learn more about the trees around us, their practical uses past and present and some related craft skills. Suitable footwear recommended – could be muddy. Meet beside the old janitor’s house. Pupils and staff welcome.

KHS Radio Show (KHS Radio Team)
The KHS radio team present a live radio show every Saturday morning at 11:00am on K107FM. You can be involved either as a presenter or a pre-recorded content creator. All years welcome – we meet in A4 (Dr Murray’s room) at lunchtime on a Thursday.

Card Making Club (Mrs Patton & Mrs Imran)
Thursday lunchtime in C19 at 1:10pm. This is open to all year groups, beginner crafters and experts welcome!

French Study Support (Mrs Morris)
French Study Support will be on a Thursday with Mrs Morris. All levels from 3:30-4:20pm. Hope to see you there.

Music Study Support (Mrs Duckett)
Music study support will run on Thursday, 3:20–4:00pm: Basic Music Theory ‘catch-up’ for all levels of certificate with Mrs Duckett in E12.

Chemistry Study Support (Dr McNab)
The chemistry study support session will be on a Thursday from 3:30-4:30pm in A6 for all levels.
