S5/6 Parents’/Carers’ Evening In School on Thursday 4 December – PEBS (Mrs Noone)
The parent/carer on-line booking system is open. Booking system closes at 11:55pm on Tuesday 2 December 2025.

Medicine Interactive Carousel (Mrs Smith)
NHS Fife, in partnership with DYW Fife are delighted to invite S4 pupils who have a keen interest in studying Medicine to an interactive carousel event we are hosting within NHS Fife.

  • Monday 8th December – Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline (9:30am – 3:00pm)

The day will start at 9.30am sharp for registration and warm up. The morning will be spent doing carousel events including CPR, suturing, communication skills, physiological observations, injection techniques and learning about sensory deprivation. Students will be actively encouraged to participate in these activities under our careful supervision.

After lunch, we will have an opportunity to hear from Medical Students and Doctors about what it is like to attend medical school and the different ways that you can enter into this career. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions during this session. We aim to finish by 2:45pm.

S1 Pantomime (Mrs MacKenzie)
The English Department are running a trip for S1 to our local theatre- Adam Smith- to watch their performance of ‘Aladdin’ and there are still a few spaces up for grabs! The trip will take place on Wednesday 17th December 2025 and will cost £10. If you would like to go on the trip, please see Mrs Mackenzie (B28) for a permission slip.
If you have paid for your space but have not completed a permission slip, please see Mrs Mackenzie in B28.

Drawcember Drawing Challenge (Miss Kinloch)
Do you love drawing?  Can you challenge yourself to draw every day in December to a prompt?

Christmas Fayre – Raffle Donations (Events Team & Mr. Caldwell)
We’re excited to announce the Kirkcaldy High School Christmas Fayre on Tuesday, 16th December 2025, and we’d love your help to make it extra special! We’re putting together a festive raffle to raise funds for local charities, and would be so grateful for any donations – big or small – whether it’s a gift, voucher, or larger prize. Every contribution helps us create a brilliant selection of prizes, and donors will be warmly acknowledged at the event. Donations can be dropped off in D10. You could also email Mr Caldwell, Mr Walsh and or Miss Samfat. Thank you for your generosity and support – we can’t wait to see you at the Fayre! 🎄

Fact: In KHS we are currently trying to reduce the cost of education by supplying free supplies such as stationary, sanitary products, food in home economics, bags and water bottles and other items. Please pop into Mrs Hume or to the PSO base if you need any support with these.
