College/FA – All strike action cancelled (J Davidson)
All those scheduled to go to college on Thursday and any future dates, should now attend college/FA courses. All strike action for this week and future weeks has been cancelled.
Immunisation Letters (Mrs Waddell, Office)
Can S1 & S2 pupils please come to reception during interval or lunch to collect their immunisation letters. These must be taken home, completed and returned to the school office by Wed 5 May.
YPI Winners from S3 & S4 (Ms Mahr)
If you are currently in S3 or S4 and won your YPI class final with either myself, Mrs Whyte, Miss Devenney or Mr Mitchell, could you please come see me by Friday 30 April so we can organise how you can be part of the virtual grand final in June 2021 and potentially win your chosen charity £3000! Ramadan 2021 (KHS Equalities Group)
Ramadan Kareem KHS! We would like to support everyone observing Ramadan this year. We realise Ramadan can be a difficult yet reflective time for Muslims so we would like to offer you a little bit of a sanctuary using Ms Mahr’s room in the first instance! If you need some quiet time for reflection or just need some time away from the food in the dinner hall, please head up to C12 during lunch and break for the duration of Ramadan and Ms Mahr will help you out! You are more than welcome to bring friends who are not fasting as well.
If any pupils feel as though they would like to pray starting from Thursday 15 April there will be a room available. The room is located next to Mr Allan’s office, where the operations room is. If you walk into there and instead of walking straight you turn to your second right, there is a small room where a prayer mat will be laid out and there is a sink to do wudhu as well. There will also be tasbih’s and Surah Yaseen available too. If anyone can’t find the room or has any questions, please ask Ramiza (S5) or Alisha (S2), thanks!

Tree Craft (Mr Crawford)
Thursdays at 1:10pm. A short walk through local woodland, weather permitting, or related activities indoors otherwise. Come along and learn more about the trees around us, their practical uses past and present and some related craft skills. Suitable footwear recommended – could be muddy. Meet beside the old janitor’s house. Pupils and staff welcome.
How to Make a Face Covering (Mrs Patton & Mrs Cowie)
Thursday lunchtimes 1:10pm in the Art Department. If you have previously come to mask club but are yet to finish your mask, we are now ready for you! It may be that you have cut your pattern, have a little sewing left do or just need to add the elastic. Whatever stage you are at, we look forward to seeing you in the Art Dept this Thursday at 1:10pm, so please bring your lunch along with you.
KHS Radio Show (KHS Radio Team)
The KHS radio team present a live radio show every Saturday morning at 11:00am on K107FM. You can be involved either as a presenter or a pre-recorded content creator. All years welcome – we meet in A4 (Dr Murray’s room) at lunchtime on a Thursday.

French Study Support (Mrs Morris)
French Study Support will be on a Thursday with Mrs Morris. All levels from 3:30-4:20pm. Hope to see you there.

Music study support will run on Thursday, 3:20–4:00pm: Basic Music Theory ‘catch-up’ for all levels of certificate with Mrs Duckett in E12.
