Work Placement Opportunity (Miss Akers)
Babcock are now taking applicants for their Summer programme: Shipbuilding/Engineering Work Experience Programme. This will take place June 9th-12th. If this is of interest to you then please see Miss Akers or Mr McCowan for more details.

Rugby Tournament (Mr Harrower)
Any boys in S1 or S2 who are interested in playing in an upcoming rugby tournament should attend a meeting next Tuesday (25 February) at 1:25pm in the boys gym. Attendance is essential if you are keen to play or would like more information.

S4 Course Choice (Mrs Hamilton)
S4 pupils will be meeting with their guidance teacher on Monday 24 February to complete their course choice for next session. Information has been emailed to parents/carers and it is important that you discuss your choices at home prior to your appointment. Appointment times will be emailed to parents/carers later this week and will also be displayed on the glass cabinets outside the old guidance room. Please check your time prior to Monday.

S5 Course Choice (Mrs Hamilton)
S5 pupils will be meeting with their guidance teacher on Wednesday 26 February to complete their course choice for next session. Information has been emailed to parents/carers and it is important that you discuss your choices at home prior to your appointment. Yoga for Managing Exam Stress – Senior School (Mrs Patton)
Starting after school Tuesday 25 February, 3.40pm – 4.15pm. I will be starting a yoga class for senior exam pupils where we will be focusing on how to use yoga techniques to help manage exam stress. No yoga experience is necessary and all equipment will be provided. If you want to find out more, please come and see me in B21. I will sort the room location once I have a better idea of numbers.

Article 3: Best Interests of the Child – Fact ” You have the right to have a say in all decisions that affect you. This includes your course choices that you have just been making!”

Article 27: Healthy Food – Free Food (Mrs Young)
We are trying to reduce food waste therefore can you please come along to D2 at the end of each day to make use of the free food that is available. This will include food that has been cooked in home economics as well as fresh food that needs to be used up. This will be available every day on a first come first served basis and will help make sure food does not get binned which is good for us and the environment! There is usually even more excess on a Friday so get down ASAP!

School Nurse Drop-in Service (School Nursing Team)
The school nurse drop-in service runs in Meeting Room 1 every Friday at break time. You can see them for all issues health related. No appointment necessary.

MONDAY 24 FEBRUARY

Rights Respecting Schools Group and Ambassadors (Miss Young)
Can all existing members and anyone keen to join come along to B14 and anyone who expressed interest in being an ambassador. The meeting will be about new projects coming up this year as well as discussing membership, badges and choice of meeting days (feel free to bring lunch).

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes)
If you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Monday lunchtime.

S1-S6 Basketball (Mr Stewart)
Basketball for all year groups on Monday from 3:30-4:30pm.

S1 Football (Mr Geissler)
S1 boys football training afterschool Monday from 3:30-4:15pm. Meet in the PE department.

U15 Boys Football (Mr Mooney)
U15 Football will run on Mondays after school. All welcome.

Fitness Suite Mondays (Mrs Steedman)
Every Monday lunchtime the Fitness Suite will be open to all pupils S1-S6. Grab a quick lunch and come down to use the equipment, you can do whatever workout you like, some cardio or some weights, entirely up to you!

French Study Support (Mrs Morris)
French study support for N4/5 and Higher will take place on a Monday afterschool 3:30-4:30pm in C9.
