The parent/carer on-line booking system closes tonight at 11:55pm.

Study Classes (Mrs Hamilton)
Due to some changes within the English timetable, we are having to reallocate some of the study classes.

Changes to S5/6 Study Classes
Ms Patton’s class will go to Miss Millar in B12
Ms Boyce’s class will go to Ms Whyte in C13
Mrs Campbell’s class will go to Ms Bruce in Library

Changes to S4 Study Classes
Ms Archibald’s class will go to Mrs Harrower in C2
Ms Dickson’s class will go to Mr Robb in A10

I will be looking to reallocate learners into study classes with subject specialists where possible over the next few weeks.

Scottish Cup Match (Mr Geissler)
Can all S1 boys who showed an interest in playing in tomorrows Scottish cup match v Inverurie Academy meet in the Inclusion Hub at break time today please.

Kingdom Works Construction Academy (Mr McCowan)
Kingdom Works are looking to support anyone aged 16-18 who is interested in a career in construction by offering training in the Construction Academy.

Training will include:

Manual Handling
IPAF
PASMA
Vechicle Banksman
REHIS H&S
Working at Heights
Abrasive Wheels

DET Models (Mr Fulton)
All pupils who studied N4/N5 Design & Manufacture, Practical Woodwork or Practical Metalwork last year can now come and collect their models. Please do so by 17.01.25. Any models not claimed by this point will be recycled.

TODAYS STANDING NOTICES

Rights Respecting Schools Group and Ambassadors (Miss Young)
Can all existing members and anyone keen to join come along to B14 and anyone who expressed interest in being an ambassador. The meeting will be about new projects coming up this year as well as discussing membership, badges and choice of meeting days (feel free to bring lunch).

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes)
If you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Monday lunchtime.

S1-S6 Badminton (Mr Harrower)
S1-S6 Badminton in the Games Hall on a Monday from 3:30-4:15pm.

S1-S6 Basketball (Mr Stewart)
Basketball for all year groups on Monday from 3:30-4:30pm.

S1 Football (Mr Geissler)
S1 boys football training afterschool Monday from 3:30-4:15pm. Meet in the PE department.

U15 Boys Football (Mr Mooney)
U15 Football will run on Mondays after school. All welcome.

Fitness Suite Mondays (Mrs Steedman)
Every Monday lunchtime the Fitness Suite will be open to all pupils S1-S6. Grab a quick lunch and come down to use the equipment, you can do whatever workout you like, some cardio or some weights, entirely up to you!

French Study Support (Mrs Morris)
French study support for N4/5 and Higher will take place on a Monday afterschool 3:30-4:30pm in C9.

TUESDAY 14 JANUARY

Hot Meal: Soup of the day, Rainbow Sausage & Onions with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Yorkshire Pudding or Pork Sausage with Onions, Gravy and Yorkshire Pudding.

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray) 🏳️‍⚧️
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Creative Well-being Club (PSO Team)
There is a new opportunity open to pupils to join the Creative Well-being Club. The group will be creating and designing a new school poster to showcase the well-being indicators and what they are. This will run on Tuesday lunchtimes in the Inclusion Hub. There will be a house point incentive for participating.

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones & Ms Barclay)
Are you a maths whiz looking for a club where you can really challenge yourself? Join our Enterprising Maths Club and tackle mind-bending problems with other students. There’s even a chance to represent the school in maths competitions, so get involved! Come to B4 every Tuesday lunchtime.

Glee Choir (Mr Wilkie)
Glee Choir will run in the Music Department on Tuesday & Wednesday lunchtime in E12..

S1-S3 Study Club (Dr Black)
If you need a place to complete your homework or get some extra practice in come along to D10 on Tuesday lunchtimes, 1:15-1:45pm.

S1-S2 Netball (Miss Johnston & Mrs Poynter)
S1-S2 will train on Tuesday night, 3:30-4:15pm.

S1-S6 Dance Club (Miss Johnston & Mrs Poynter)
Dance Club will be running for all S1-S6 after school on Tuesdays at 3:25pm.

Japanese Club (Mrs Morris)
Japanese club will run on a Tuesday afterschool 3:30-4:15pm in C9 with Mrs Morris. New members welcome.

Chemistry Study Support (Chemistry Teachers)
If you need help with any aspect of Chemistry or S1-S2 Science, at any level then Chemistry Study Support is the place to get it. One of your happy, smiling chemistry teachers will be available Tuesday 3:30-4:30pm in either of A4, A5, or A6 for all your questions, queries and conundrums. You could also simply use this as a quiet place to study, or even get that homework task completed that you’ve been putting off since the dawn of time. All welcome!
