Road Safety (Mr McKay)
Young people are reminded that they should take care crossing roads, especially Dunnikier Way. Please use the crossings provided. Please also make use of the crossing officer at the beginning of the day, break, lunch and end of school day. Young people should not attempt to cross at other points and should always remain vigilant. This message will be re-enforced through assemblies and SE in the coming weeks.
It is also important that young people attend all timetabled classes, sign-out as appropriate and follow all expectations. Again, these will be re-enforced through assemblies and your class teachers.

All New S2-4 Pupils (Ms Crawford)
Can all new S2, S3 & S4 pupils (in these year groups after summer) please scan the QR code below and complete the short MS form. This is to gather information on which sports club’s pupils attend in the community if any at all, if you can swim and if you can ride a bike. Please complete even if you don’t attend any sports clubs.
Sports Day (Miss Kirkwood)
Sports day has been re-scheduled for Friday 14 June period 6 & 7. If you are competing please come to P.E at 1.30pm to get changed and registered. Parents/carers are welcome to spectate.

Edinburgh Pride – Saturday 22 June (Dr Murray) 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
There is an opportunity to go to Edinburgh Pride this year. We will take part in the march, as well as explore the stalls, and Youth Zone. EVERYONE is welcome at a Pride, whether you identify as LGBT+, or not. See Dr M in A4 if you’re interested!
S6 Army Leadership Roadshow (Mr McCowan)
The Army Leadership Roadshow is coming to Dundee on 18 June. This is an exclusive opportunity to develop leadership skills in your S6 students
Delivered by high quality Army graduates from the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst and officer cadets from Scottish University Officer Training Corps this one day leadership package from 10am to 4pm will include a programme of activities including:
- ‘voice of experience’ presentations
- group discussion – qualities of a leader/challenges of leadership/values-based leadership
- practical leadership tasks
- student-led reflection
Particularly suitable for students aspiring to progress to University! If you are interested then please come and speak to Mr McCowan in C4 before the end of this week.
