Our recent trip to France was a truly memorable experience, and the children were a real credit to the school throughout. Their behaviour was excellent and they embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm.
Sunday: We set off by coach, full of excitement for the week ahead.
Monday: After crossing by ferry, we visited an aquarium where everyone enjoyed learning about sea life. Later, we arrived at Château de Warsy, our home for the week.
Tuesday: We headed into Paris for a brilliant day out. We enjoyed a boat trip along the River Seine, visited the iconic Eiffel Tower, and had some time for shopping along the Champs-Élysées.
Wednesday: In the morning, we explored Amiens, before travelling to the Somme 1916 Museum in the afternoon to learn more about the history of the First World War.
Thursday: A definite highlight was our full day at Disneyland Paris, packed with rides, laughter and lots of smiles.
Friday: We visited the Thiepval Memorial in the morning for a thoughtful and reflective end to the trip, followed by a supermarket stop before our long ferry and coach journey home.
It was a fantastic trip filled with learning, fun and unforgettable memories.
