S4 & S5 Law Students (Mrs Nessel)
Discover Law is an interactive taster day for S4 and S5 pupils who are planning to apply to university to study Law in 2027 and beyond.

Hosted at the University of Dundee, this event is designed to give pupils an early insight into what studying Law at university is really like both academically and socially.
During the day, pupils will:

Take part in a student-led moot (mock trial), including a live demonstration and interactive session

Learn about future study and career pathways linked to a Law degree

Definition: Facetious is used to describe something, such as a remark or behaviour, that is meant to be humorous or funny but is sometimes instead annoying, silly, or improper. It can also be used to describe someone who is joking, often implying that they are doing so inappropriately.
Example: The emcee delivered several facetious quips throughout the night that the audience found in poor taste.

We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Wednesday. You could be involved. We meet every Wednesday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.

Chess Club (Mr Morrice)
Chess club runs Wednesday lunchtimes in A9, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand master’s welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black or Mr Morrice if you would like to come along.

The Anime and Manga club runs every Wednesday lunchtime with Ms Kelsey in B29. Come along to watch anime, read manga, and draw manga.
