Article 27: Healthy Food – Free Food (Mrs Young)
Free Food: We are trying to reduce food waste therefore can you please come along to D2 at the end of each day to make use of the free food that is available. This will include food that has been cooked in home economics as well as fresh food that needs to be used up. This will be available every day on a first come first served basis and will help make sure food does not get binned which is good for us and the environment! There is usually even more excess on a Friday so get down ASAP! Thanks, Rights Respecting Schools Group

Right of the Fortnight (Mrs Young)
Article 27 – Food, clothing and safe home: Did you know that KHS supports young people in this by using donations received from The Big House Multibank which covers article 27. We pass these donations to families in need and often include food, drinks and clothing items. We also have a cost of the school day form that can be filled in by parents to request support for this and a school uniform bank.
