S2 Netball (Mrs Steedman)
Can all S2’s who are playing in the netball match on Wednesday after school, please attend a meeting at break today at the PE base.

U15 Fife League Match (Mr Mooney)
Tomorrow’s home U15 Fife League Match versus Madras is a 3:30pm KO. A reminder that the squad is up on the board outside B25. Please meet in B25 at the beginning of Period 7 tomorrow. If anyone in the squad is unavailable, please let me know today at some point.

S2 Parents’/Carers’ Evening In School on Wednesday 15 January – PEBS (Mrs Noone)
The parent/carer on-line booking system is open.  Booking system closes at 11:55pm on Monday 13 January 2025.

S3 Tenner Challenge (Miss Nessel)
Those groups who were successful in gaining funding have had their materials on Friday afternoon. Ensure you bring anything else you need to Miss Nessel on/before Tuesday lunch time. If you still need to collect your bags, these were delivered over the weekend, come and do that on Monday ASAP. I have contacted parents to let them know you will attending the fair on Tuesday night. Any issues, see Miss Nessel.

Christmas Memorial Baubles (Pamela, PSO)
If you would like to have a personalised bauble in memory of a loved one, please see Pamela (PSO). You can hang it on the school’s memorial tree at reception before taking it home to hang on your own tree. Any baubles left on the tree will be hung each year.

Christmas Concert (Mrs Duckett)
Could all musicians collect their tickets from Mrs Duckett ASAP at break and lunchtimes.

Right of the Fortnight (Miss Young)
Everyone must know their Rights: Kirkcaldy High School was the first High School in Fife to achieve a Gold Rights Respecting Schools award in 2019.

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray) 🏳️‍⚧️
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Creative Well-being Club (PSO Team)
There is a new opportunity open to pupils to join the Creative Well-being Club. The group will be creating and designing a new school poster to showcase the well-being indicators and what they are. This will run on Tuesday lunchtimes in the Inclusion Hub. There will be a house point incentive for participating.

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones & Ms Barclay)
Are you a maths whiz looking for a club where you can really challenge yourself? Join our Enterprising Maths Club and tackle mind-bending problems with other students. There’s even a chance to represent the school in maths competitions, so get involved! Come to B4 every Tuesday lunchtime.

Glee Choir (Mr Wilkie)
Glee will now run a Tuesday lunchtime rehearsal in Music from 1:20pm.

S1-S2 Netball (Miss Johnston & Mrs Poynter)
S1-S2 will train on Tuesday night, 3:30-4:15pm.

S1-S6 Dance Club (Miss Johnston & Mrs Poynter)
Dance Club will be running for all S1-S6 after school on Tuesdays at 3.25pm.

S1-S3 Study Club (Dr Black)
If you need a place to complete your homework or get some extra practice in come along to D10 on Tuesday lunchtimes (1:15-1:45pm).

Chemistry Study Support (Chemistry Teachers)
If you need help with any aspect of Chemistry or S1-S2 Science, at any level then Chemistry Study Support is the place to get it. One of your happy, smiling chemistry teachers will be available Tuesday 3:30-4:30pm in either of A4, A5, or A6 for all your questions, queries and conundrums. You could also simply use this as a quiet place to study, or even get that homework task completed that you’ve been putting off since the dawn of time. All welcome!

WEDNESDAY 18 DECEMBER

S6 Yearbook & Prom Committee (Miss Lipton)
The Yearbook and Prom Committee will meet from 3:25pm each Wednesday in D9.

S3-S6 Netball (Mrs Little)
S3-S6 will train on a Wednesday night 3:30-4:15pm.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Dr Murray) 📻
We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Wednesday. You could be involved. We meet every Wednesday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.

Anime and Manga Club (Ms Kelsey)
Anime and Manga club will be on a Wednesday lunchtime in B29.

S2 Football (Mr Pennel)
S2 Football will run Wednesday after school from 3:25-4:15pm.

S1-S3 Study Club (Dr Black)
If you need a place to complete your homework or get some extra practice in come along Wednesdays after school in D10 (3:30-4:30pm).

KHS Glee Club (Mr Wilkie)
KHS Glee Club with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie runs Wednesday after school, 3:30– 4:30pm in E12. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome! Please see Mr Wilkie for more information.

Classics Film Club (Mrs Brown)
Classics Film Club is at lunch time today. All welcome. Bring your lunch to C11. See me in advance for a pass.
